Tidal Film is live!

We’ve been quietly working on our rebrand for a while now, and it’s really exciting to be able to share it with the world finally.

I know you’re probably thinking why ‘Tidal Film’? So here’s where we thought it would be a good opportunity to go a bit deeper into what the brand means to us, and in turn what it’ll mean for you too.

We chose the name ‘Tidal Film’ for many reasons. First and foremost, we are by the sea! We are based in Southend-on-Sea in Essex, so it only felt right to pay homage to where our roots are. Plus, our creative director Ben is a huge kite boarding fan, so the water is his second home.

Secondly, we love all the imagery surrounding ‘tidal’. We felt it really did illustrate our core values in our video production process. We make content that moves, that makes a splash and that go beyond the surface.

Like the tide, our work is shaped by rhythm and timing, allowing stories to unfold naturally rather than feeling forced. There’s a quiet confidence in it: powerful but considered, calm yet full of energy. It reflects our focus on cinematic, story-led films capturing emotion, atmosphere, and meaning in a way that feels human, natural, and lasting.

While the name and look have changed, the important stuff hasn’t. We’re still all about collaboration, craft, and telling stories that feel honest and considered. Same team, same values - just a clearer direction.

This rebrand marks an exciting new chapter for us, and we can’t wait to see how this new direction unfolds.

Thanks to everyone who’s supported us along the way. Welcome to Tidal Film.
