A Better Start Southend
The Brief
A Better Start wanted 2 main films, an awareness and impact film, to showcase the amazing work carried out by the Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Visitors, and hearing from parents that they had helped.
Concept, Production & Delivery
Working with A Better Start Southend, we identifed 2 different outcomes and audeinces for the campaign, and so decided that making 2 films would be benfiical to make sure each audeince had the content that suited them. The awareness film was aimed at new or expectant parents who might be having perinatal mental health symptoms, and th film’s aim was to make them understnad where to go help, and most importantly that they weren’t alone in feeling how they felt. The imapct film was deisgned as a legacy, to docuemnt the sevice and to showcase to ponttial funders the value of the project and service, showing hoew much of an impact it made in the community and for indivuals.
The Outcome
2 films with social cutdowns that showcase personal stories, professional insights, and the lasting impact of compassionate, specialized support for parents and their babies. We are always so grateful for those who have had potentially challenging experiences to come forward and share those with us and a wider audience in order to help others in similar situations.
