Excel Fostering

The Brief
In the lovely Buckinghamshire countryside lives a fantastic foster care family - the amazing Lynne and Chris. Capstone Foster Care set us the task of capturing the couple's enthusiasm for fostering and their desire for having fun which all stems from looking after foster children.
Concept, Production & Delivery
From the outset, we quickly realised their experiences exceeded the bounds of just one film, so it evolved into a series of content to give their stories the platform they deserved. We really wanted the film to feel authentic and relaxed, so opted for an informal documentary aesthetic, which we hope makes anyone watching feel like they get to know Chris and Lynne personally - and we can tell you, they are really are this amazing off camera as they on camera!
The Outcome
We made a social media video campaign of 3 films with Lynne and Chris, focussing on different key aspects of fostering which were revealed by meeting them. We also heard from their grown up foster son, Ryan, about his own foster care experience with Chris and Lynne - a true testament to the power of fostering.
