Havens Hospices Art Trail

The Brief
Havens Hospices second art trail focussed around a herd of beautifully decorated elephants. They wanted a series of films to document the artistic process, install, community impact and vital need for funds for the hospice group. The challenge? Documenting the whole trail from artist selection to elephant auction.
Concept, Production & Delivery
We worked with Havens to build a slate of work in pre-production that would really showcase the enormity of the art trail. This trail was going to be bigger and better than before! The campaign comprised of 7 films - 1 artist selection evening film, 3 x artist process films 2 x graphic teaser trail films, and finally a whole trail wrap up film to be shown at the auction. With filming spread over a year and a half, we aimed to capture as much of the action as possible, from following artists in their studios, to late night elephant installs around the City, we managed to film as much content as we could for the trail. The deliveries of each film were at different points in the lead up to the trail, so we were able to edit each film wholly into its own existing standalone film. Then after filming the trail in action over the summer, we could pull together the final wrap up film for the auction event.
The Outcome
A whole campaign of art trail films, showcasing the artists, schools, the reason for the art trail and a whole wrap up to encourage donations to the amazing charity. We created social formats for each, so it was easy to share, increasing engagement and curiosity throughout the trail.
Content creation with purpose.
